jpaulobg There are 2 main ways to get your stream ID:
- You can use the python library
get_stream_by_name('stream-name') where you use the name of stream if known. If you want to create a stream with a specific name and then get its ID, you can use
get_or_create_stream('stream-name'), which will create a stream with the given name as parameter if it doesn't exist under your account yet
- You can get the ID from your Streams page at Streamr.com portal, you can click on the desired stream and find its ID here
One thing to keep in mind is that you cannot push data to streams created by others that you don't have edit right. That right needs to be conferred from the creator of the stream. In case of the free pollution streams, you can get the stream for free from marketplace. Once you add the stream to your account, you can access its data as read-only. You would be able to gets its stream ID with any of the above 2 ways described.
Hope this helps
